The Old Saybrook Land Trust is offering a new program called OAK (Outdoor Adventure Kids) this fall. According to the Land Trust "OAK is a family oriented club for children in grades K-6. OAK invites children to become naturalists and stewards of the earth while exploring the town's trail system. The Old Saybrook Land Trust will offer OAK members four guided seasonal hikes during the 1009-10 school year. Each hike will encourage children and their families to discover the natural beauty of the woods and some of the unique features of each trail. Club members will receive an activity book which includes trail maps, animal tracking tips and games."
