Kayak Trail
The interactive map below displays the Connecticut River Estuary Canoe / Kayak Trail that was mapped by the Connecticut River Estuary Regional Planning Agency.  The trail is one of several that were created to help boaters find and enjoy paddle friendly areas along the Connecticut River.  The trail initially is displayed in a "Google Map" that allows you to pan and zoom using the tools in the top left corner or your mouse.  You also can click on the P symbols for information about parking or on the trail itself for more information about it.  You can change the background map by clicking on the choices in the top right corner of the map. Clicking on Earth will let you browse the map in 3-D using Google Earth.

More information about this trail can be found in the original CRERPA Publication available online.  Or stop by the CRERPA office located at 455 Boston Post Road, next door to the railroad station, and get a laminated copy of the trail map.  Enjoy!

One note of caution: The trail between North and South Coves is in the Connecticut River where there can be large boat wakes and strong currents.
